Vijayanagar Empire
Vijayanagar (1350-1564):
Harihara I and Bukka I founded Vijayanagar Kingdom and the city in 1336. Both of them were brought to the centre by Mohammed bin Tughluq. Vijayanagar's archrival was Brahmani Sultans with whom they fought over Tungabhadra doab, Krisna doab and Marathwada. Vijayanagar-Bahamani contest was started by Bukka I in 1367 when he attacked the Bahamani fortress at Mudkal.
